DEX.fo is an anonymous instant cryptocurrency exchange that launched in 2026. Despite the name, it is not a decentralized exchange in the automated market maker sense. It works like the other instant swap services in this category, letting users trade coins directly from their own wallets with no account, no login, and no registration step.

DEX.fo does not run any KYC or AML checks on users. Its own materials describe the service as no-KYC, no-logs, and no-analytics by design. The platform states it does not log IP addresses at any point in its infrastructure, including reverse proxies and API servers, and it does not use cookies or other tracking methods. Exchange details such as sender, receiver, and refund addresses are automatically deleted from its systems after 15 days.

DEX.fo offers two ways to process a swap. FAST mode fills an order directly from the platform’s own reserves, skipping any bridges, so the only wait is for blockchain confirmation. CHAIN mode routes the swap through third-party inter-network bridges and liquidity pools instead, which takes longer but can complete conversions that FAST mode cannot handle directly. This makes DEX.fo’s liquidity a mix of its own reserves and outside liquidity, depending on which mode a swap uses.

Every completed swap comes with a PGP-signed receipt, and DEX.fo publishes detailed instructions for verifying these signatures using standard GPG tools on desktop or mobile. This lets a user independently confirm that a receipt is authentic and has not been altered after the fact, similar to a digitally signed letter of guarantee.

DEX.fo supports Monero, and the platform is reachable over Tor through its own onion address. It also offers a public API and an affiliate program. Support runs through Telegram and SimpleX, a privacy-oriented messaging app, rather than traditional email or live chat. As a service that only launched in 2026, DEX.fo has a very short track record so far, so it is worth treating it with the caution that comes with any newer platform in this space.
