SageSwap – Overview

SageSwap is a small instant cryptocurrency exchange that launched in 2025. Unlike most of the platforms in this category, SageSwap does not ask for identity verification under any circumstances. The team behind it states that avoiding KYC entirely is the core goal of the service, and it backs that up with a no-account, no-email swap flow.

SageSwap does not run mandatory AML screening on transactions. Instead, it offers an optional paid tier called AML Swap Mode, which users can choose if they want extra assurance that a higher-risk coin passes a screening check before it moves. This is opt-in and comes with an added fee on top of the standard swap cost, rather than something SageSwap applies automatically or uses as grounds to hold funds.

SageSwap supports Monero and Dash, and it runs across Bitcoin’s Lightning Network for faster BTC transfers. The platform is also built with privacy-minded users in mind more broadly. It offers a version of its site that works without JavaScript, and it can be reached over Tor. SageSwap also lets users delete a completed swap’s record from its own database once the funds have arrived, which is not something most instant exchanges offer.

The exchange lists roughly 16 supported cryptocurrencies, a much shorter list than larger competitors, and prices swaps using its own liquidity rather than routing through outside market makers. Both fixed and floating rates are available, with standard fees in the 1% to 2% range and the optional AML Swap Mode adding roughly 2% on top of that.

Support is available through email, Telegram, and privacy-focused messaging apps Session and Signal. As a service launched in 2025, SageSwap has a short track record compared to older platforms in this category, which is worth keeping in mind when deciding how much volume to route through it.
