Exolix – Overview

Exolix is an instant cryptocurrency exchange that has been running since 2018. The platform lets users swap coins directly from their own wallets, with no account needed for a standard transaction, and it lists more than 1,500 supported cryptocurrencies.

Exolix does not require identity verification for typical swaps. An internal risk-scoring system and third-party verification tools screen transactions in the background, and the exact criteria that trigger a manual check are not published. Exolix also supports Monero and Dash, two coins with privacy features that have disappeared from a number of larger, more heavily regulated exchanges.

Exolix’s terms describe a stricter compliance process than some competitors. If a transaction is flagged, the platform can hold it while an investigation is carried out, and funds may be moved into cold storage during that period. Its terms also state that funds tied to a restricted or sanctioned jurisdiction can be withdrawn from the platform, and unclaimed balances may be held for up to a year. Anyone moving a larger amount or a higher-risk asset through Exolix should read the current terms of service directly, since this policy is firmer than what most instant exchanges publish.

Exolix offers both fixed and floating rate swaps and places no fixed cap on the maximum transaction size. On the other end, deposits sent below the platform’s minimum threshold for a given coin are not returned, so it is worth double-checking the minimum amount before sending funds. Settlement typically takes between five and thirty minutes.

Exolix does not run its own consumer-facing wallet app. Instead, its exchange functionality is built into a handful of partner wallets, including Edge Wallet, Patex Wallet, and Magic Square. Support is handled through email rather than live chat.
